The U.S. Constitution is the foundation of our democracy, and you have the power to bring it to life for young students. Join the D.C. Bar and the American Constitution Society (ACS) to inspire D.C. Public School students with your knowledge and passion.
We Need Volunteers!
We seek attorneys and law students to volunteer as teachers for our upcoming Constitution in the Classroom program on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the D.C. Bar. ACS provides engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans, or you can bring your own to highlight key constitutional principles.
To participate, complete our volunteer form. The deadline to sign up is Friday, October 4.

Volunteer Qualifications
We seek attorneys and law students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to volunteer as teachers for our Constitution in the Classroom programs. ACS will provide lesson plans that are fun, relevant, and age- appropriate, but volunteers may teach their own lessons that raise awareness about fundamental constitutional principles.
