Judicial Clerkship Bootcamp

Calling all 1Ls! Register now for the D.C. Bar Law Student Community’s Judicial Clerkship Bootcamp, a day-long, intensive educational and practical program designed to expose law students to clerking as a career option. Participants will learn about the various types of judges, courts, clerks, and clerkship opportunities available during and after law school. Former clerks will talk about their clerkship experiences and give advice on how law students can prepare themselves to be competitive candidates. Students will receive an overview of the federal and state application processes, and participate in an interactive writing exercise to experience the type of work a law clerk actually does.

Keynote Presentation by
The Honorable Jill R. Cummins
Circuit Court of Montgomery County, MD
