The Celebration of Leadership Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting is the D.C. Bar’s premier event honoring the extraordinary achievements of its members, as well as officially welcoming its newly elected officers, members of the Board of Governors, and American Bar Association delegates.

To ensure everyone’s safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, the D.C. Bar is transitioning the 2020 Celebration of Leadership to a free virtual event. We are confident that this virtual format will capture the excitement of our in-person awards dinner and annual meeting, while providing members and friends alike the opportunity to celebrate a memorable year and look forward to the year ahead.

Join the D.C. Bar leadership, the judiciary, colleagues, family, friends, and others active in the legal profession for an inspirational virtual experience that will connect you to innovative leaders and prepare you for greater engagement with the Bar community.

For more information about the virtual Celebration of Leadership or to join the Celebration of Leadership Host Committee, email us at [email protected].

Prior to the virtual Celebration of Leadership, join the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center at 5:00 p.m. EST for a virtual Presidents Reception honoring incoming D.C. Bar President Geoffrey M. Klineberg and in support of free legal services for D.C. residents in need.

Learn how you can attend the Presidents Reception and how you can support the Pro Bono Center here. The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center is supported entirely by voluntary contributions.
