D.C. Attorney General Candidates Face Off in Debate

On May 11 the D.C. Bar District of Columbia Affairs Community, in partnership with the Anacostia Coordinating Counsel, hosted a virtual debate among the declared candidates for attorney general for the District of Columbia. Approximately 150 people attended the event on Zoom, and more than a thousand others viewed the livestream on YouTube.

2022 Presidents Reception Raises Record $1.23 Million for Pro Bono Center

Environmental Lawyer Patricia A. McKenna Wins 2023 Rosenberg Award

The D.C. Bar has selected Patricia A. McKenna, assistant section chief with the Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), as the 2023 recipient of its Beatrice Rosenberg Award for Excellence in Government Service. D.C. Bar Remembers Trailblazing Judge Ricardo M. Urbina
