Comment on Judge Thompson’s Application for Senior Status

The D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure is inviting comments on the qualifications and fitness of Judge Phyllis Thompson, who is seeking recommendation for an initial appointment as a senior judge on the D.C. Court of Appeals upon her retirement in September.

Members of the bench, bar, and general public may submit comments by mail to D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure, 515 Fifth Street NW, Room 246, Washington, DC 20001, or by email to [email protected]. In addition, comments may be submitted by an online survey available on the commission’s website or by using the direct link. The deadline for comments is September 13.

The identity of any person submitting comments will be kept confidential, unless the commenter authorizes the disclosure of his or her name.
