District of Columbia Court of Appeals Appointments Board Members for 2026 Board Term

On June 29, 2026, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals appointed Aaron G. Pease, Esquire and Joshua D. Rogaczewski, Esquire to their first three-year terms on the Board, effective August 1, 2026. Mr. Pease and Mr. Rogaczewski will replace Robert Walker and Michael Tigar. Mr. Walker was appointed to the Board on August 1, 2019, and served as the Board’s Chair from August 1, 2025 until July 31, 2026. Mr. Tigar was an attorney member of the Board and served from August 1, 2023 until July 31, 2026.

The Court also appointed Vice Chair Margaret M. Cassidy, Esquire, to serve as the Board’s Chair, and appointed attorney member Thomas Gilbertsen, Esquire to serve as Vice Chair.

The Board wishes to thank Mr. Walker and Mr. Tigar for their years of dedicated service to the attorney discipline system.
