Comment on Candidates for Superior Court Appointment

The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission is inviting comments from the bench, bar, and public regarding the qualifications of 20 candidates for vacancies on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the retirement of Judge Jennifer M. Anderson and the resignation of Judge Rupa Rang. The commission will submit the names of three applicants for each vacancy to the president of the United States for his consideration.

The commission has created a web-based survey to facilitate the comment process and has posted the applicants’ biographical sketches here. The deadline is 5 p.m. on April 26.
