The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission has recommended to President Biden six candidates for judicial vacancies on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the retirement of Judges William W. Nooter and John M. Campbell. The president has 60 days to select a nominee for each vacancy.

Superior Court Amends Landlord and Tenant Branch Rules
On May 15 the Superior Court of the District of Columbia issued Promulgation Order 23-02 amending Rules 3, 3-I, 3-II, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 13-I, 14-I, 14-II, and 16 of the Superior Court Rules of Procedure for the Landlord and Tenant Branch, effective immediately.
