Fall & Winter Course Offerings from D.C. Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation

Through the Center for Excellence in Youth Development (CEYD), the D.C. Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation offers a series of free and affordable trainings, technical assistance and other professional development resources to youth-serving organizations to:

1. Expand professional development opportunities for all level of staff (youth workers, supervisors, and executive/administrative staff) in youth development organizations.

2. Improve organizational practices in youth development organizations.

3. Increase understanding and the incorporation youth development approaches and principles into practice.

4. Support the learning community and network of youth development workers and youth-serving organizations.

5. Strengthen the integration of youth development research, practice, and policy in the experiences of youth development workers and youth-serving organizations.

6. Improve quality of programming and services offered in youth-serving organizations

The courses help nonprofit and D.C. city government professionals, as well as educators and parents, develop their youth development practice, knowledge and skills.
