Meet D.C. Bar President Susan M. Hoffman

When Susan M. Hoffman is sworn in as the D.C. Bar’s 48th president on June 11, not only the Bar but also the District of Columbia’s low-income and disadvantaged population will gain a staunch advocate for increasing access to justice through pro bono work. As public service partner at Crowell & Moring LLP, Hoffman oversees, promotes, supervises, and participates in the pro bono work of the firm’s 500-plus attorneys while also presiding over the Crowell & Moring Foundation, a separate nonprofit organization.
