Comment on Fitness of 13 Applicants for Superior Court Vacancy

On March 12 the District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission announced that there are 13 applicants for the pending judicial vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the resignation of Judge Maurice A. Ross. The commission will submit the names of three applicants to the president of the United States for his consideration to nominate and appoint a judge for this vacancy.

The commission invites comments by 5 p.m. on April 10 regarding the fitness of these applicants.
