Summary: In re Jeffrey B. Clark. Bar No. 455315. July 31, 2025. A majority of the Board on Professional Responsibility recommended that the D.C. Court of Appeals disbar Clark for violating Rule 8.4(a) by attempting to violate Rule 8.4(c). Clark engaged in attempted dishonesty arising from his efforts to cause the United States Department of Justice to send a letter to elected officials in Georgia expressing DOJ’s purported concern about various issues relating to the 2020 presidential election. Two Board members recommend that Clark be suspended for three years and be required to prove his fitness to practice prior to reinstatement.
