Summary: In re Nema Sayadian. Bar No. 991138. January 5, 2023. In a reciprocal matter from Maryland, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed identical reciprocal discipline and suspended Sayadian for 60 days, stayed in favor of two years of probation subject to full compliance with the terms imposed by the state of Maryland. In Maryland, Sayadian was found to have engaged in a conflict of interest by failing to advise clients that they should seek independent counsel before waiving claims against him related to the representation.
