Summary: Disciplinary Counsel issued Gray an informal admonition. While retained to represent a client in a landlord–tenant matter, Gray failed to provide competent representation, failed to serve the client with skill and care commensurate with that generally afforded to clients by other lawyers in similar matters, failed to keep the client reasonably informed about the status of the matter and promptly comply with reasonable requests for information, and failed to explain the matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation. Rules 1.1(a), 1.1(b), 1.4(a), and 1.4(b).
