Summary: Bar Counsel issued Machado an informal admonition for failing, in connection with a criminal matter, to represent a client competently, to serve the client with skill and care commensurate with that afforded to clients by other lawyers in similar matters, to represent the client diligently, to act with reasonable promptness, to keep the client reasonably informed about the status of his case, to explain the matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions, and to surrender papers to a client after the representation ended; intentionally failing to seek the client’s legal objectives; and engaging in conduct that seriously interfered with the administration of justice.
