Yes. Membership in any state bar is acceptable for immigration practices, but an attorney with a non-D.C. Bar license may still be subject to D.C. rules on unauthorized practice of law.

We are looking for experienced immigration attorneys to provide "quality control" during our citizenship workshops.
Types of services:
CARECEN’s immigration legal services program assists clients to apply for a variety of immigration benefits, including legal permanent residence, citizenship, asylum, temporary protected status, and deferred action for childhood arrivals. It also provides defense of removal in certain cases.
Volunteer needs:
Volunteer attorneys are needed to assist with CARECEN's periodic citizenship workshops.
