Learn about important audit and investigation issues affecting government contractors, including:

Major audit functions and source of audit rights

Types of audits

Records retention and other audit considerations

Primary investigative functions, basis of authority and investigative entities

Typical investigation triggers and course of investigations

Subpoena compliance including preservation of responsive materials and consequences of failure

Subpoena enforcement and relevant case law.

Our experienced faculty will explain the basics of federal audits and investigations, including how and why they occur, what issues need to be considered, and their potential ramifications for government contractors. This class is the last of four classes to be offered monthly starting in July on Government Contract Basics.
