Event Description
This annual D.C. Bar program will review significant recent administrative law developments in the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and federal agencies, as well as proposed Congressional legislation. The panel is composed of three administrative law professors: Professor Lisa Heinzerling, Georgetown University Law Center, speaking on presidential control of administrative rulemaking; Professor Jonathan Siegel, George Washington University Law School, speaking on Appointments Clause cases, particularly the Canning case; and Professor Jeffrey S. Lubbers, American University Washington College of Law, reviewing the significant administrative law cases recently decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
