Multiple Target Servers (Clustered)

If your environment includes clustered target servers, you should be aware of a few general recommendations and potential issues.

The IP address assigned during the installation for each target server must be a hostname or IP address that is ignored by the load balancing device. Additionally, the same IP/hostname must be used for the replication record.

In the Targer Servers dialog, click the status icon to check connection and Target Server Status to ensure that the IP/hostname configured for this target server is indeed outside the scope of the load balancing device.

Note: If you replicate to two or more servers and you have specified a delay in the packet application process, it is possible to delay the packet application, if the time span between authoring is less than the time for the delay.
