Lawyer Assistance Program



A free, confidential program for D.C. Bar members, judges, and District law students who are experiencing problems, such as addiction, mental health symptoms, or stress, which interfere with their personal or professional lives.



Join LAP for a new free service designed for those who would benefit from working with a group in a supportive environment. The Wellness Support Group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 12:15 p.m. at a downtown Washington, D.C. location.

 

Who We Are: History and mission of the D.C. Bar LAP and Lawyer Assistance Committee.

Substance Abuse: Self–assessments, articles, and other resources about addiction and substance abuse.

Mental Health: Resources related to depression, anxiety, stress, and other mental health disorders.

Wellness: Get help managing stress, compulsive behaviors, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), etc.

For Law Students: Resources, links, and further reading designed specifically for law students.
