Mind. Body. Peace.

May 3, 2015

Attorneys, if you wait for a break in your day, it's likely to never come. On May 27 plan to get up from your desk and out of the office for an hour-long "Yoga for Lawyers" session, hosted by the D.C. Bar Sections Office.

The program will help legal professionals hit the reset button by showing them how to take meaningful breaks throughout the workday to improve their mood, productivity, and overall happiness. Participants will practice relaxation yoga, calming techniques, and breathing exercises to help combat daily stress, working with difficult clients, looming deadlines, and challenges at home.

All are welcome to join. No experience necessary.

The event is sponsored by all the D.C. Bar sections and cosponsored by the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia. It takes place from 12 to 1:15 p.m. at the D.C. Bar Conference Center, 1101 K Street NW, first floor. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
