Bar Begins 10-Stop Networking & Listening Tour

June 10, 2016

On June 8 the D.C. Bar headed to the Big Apple to connect with members beyond the Beltway. New York City was the first of 10 stops for D.C. BARometer, a member connection forum and networking event aimed to gather insights from members outside D.C.

Throughout the month of June, the Bar also visited Miami; Arlington, Virginia; Chicago; and Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Bar plans to make additional stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, and in one of nearly 80 countries abroad that members practice as well.

During the New York City BARometer, members gathered at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP to discuss their professional needs and how the Bar could help. The member-only event drew a crowd that included people from diverse practice areas, practice types, and experience levels.
