2018 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll Enrollment Opens

February 13, 2019

Did you devote 50 hours or more to pro bono service in 2018? If so, register your name for the District of Columbia Courts’ Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll by March 1, 2019.

Supported by the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center and the D.C. Access to Justice Commission, the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll pays tribute to the thousands of D.C. Bar members and attorneys, practicing under D.C. Court of Appeals Rule 49, who devoted significant time to pro bono service in 2018. Those honored include attorneys who provided desperately needed free legal services to D.C. residents living in poverty and to the small, disadvantaged businesses and community-based nonprofits that are critical to the economic well-being of our city.

To register for the Honor Roll, attorneys must simply submit a declaration indicating that they have provided 50 hours or more of pro bono work—or 100 hours or more for the High Honor Roll—in 2018. Attorneys may submit applications online at www.CapitalProBono.net.

Bulk applications may be submitted by office administrators.
Participating attorneys will be recognized on the Courts’ website.

Submissions are due by March 1, 2019.
