2017 Celebration of Leadership Highlights

Be a part of this D.C. Bar gala celebration to salute outstanding leaders and projects of the District of Columbia. At the dinner, we will say farewell to D.C. Bar President Annamaria Steward of the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law. Steward will give her final speech as D.C. Bar President and will pass the ceremonial gavel of leadership to incoming President Patrick McGlone. McGlone is senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Ullico Inc. Chief Judge Anna Blacksburne-Rigsby of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals will deliver the oath of office to McGlone who will be sworn in as the Bar’s 46th president. His first action as the new leader will be to offer remarks about his vision for the upcoming year.

The presentations of the Bar’s most prestigious honors, the William J. Brennan Jr. and Beatrice Rosenberg Awards, traditionally are highlights at the celebration dinner. Other outstanding D.C. Bar members and projects will also be recognized. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the great work of these important Bar leaders.
