The section is continuing to have discussions with the Sections Office and with other sections as to the causes of declining enrollment for our events, and the mechanisms available, if any, to reverse that trend.

The Intellectual Property Law Section also has cosponsored, and is cosponsoring, several other programs with other Bar sections.

The Intellectual Property Law Section will hold its annual Spring Reception on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Dolley Madison House. This year the Intellectual Property Law Section will present its Champion of Intellectual Property (ChIP) Award to Jon Baumgarten, former general counsel for the Copyright Office.

We look forward to continuing theseefforts and hosting a variety of other programs and events for the benefit ofour members and the community in the next fiscal year.
