Annual Labor and Employment Law Update

Event Description
Robert B. ("Bob") Fitzpatrick will present his annual employment law update. This program will include two full hours of analysis of the last twelve months of precedent-setting cases from the D.C. Circuit, 4th Circuit, D.C. Court of Appeals, Maryland Court of Appeals, Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and Virginia Supreme Court. Practice tips will be shared with all sides - -employee, management, and government attorneys. In addition to covering 2013 case law developments in the three jurisdictions, Mr. Fitzpatrick will canvass developments at the Supreme Court affecting employment law practice. This program has been an ongoing feature of the Section's educational 'brown bag' program for well over 10 years. Registrants will be provided with a copy of Bob Fitzpatrick's comprehensive paper, summarizing the key cases that are essential to every employment practice, whether the practice represents plaintiffs, defendants, or the government. This program is a must-attend event!
