Using video clips from real depositions, two experienced trial attorneys will let you in on their secrets for conducting a great deposition. This new class is designed for attorneys with some litigation experience who would like to improve their skills in taking depositions. You will learn practical tips and strategies on these topics and more:

- Deposition scheduling

- Videotaping and audiotaping of depositions

- Depositions upon written questions

- Depositions of attorneys

- Depositions of experts

- 30(b)(6) depositions

- Responding to subpoenas

- Protective orders

- Work product protection and attorney-client privilege

- Objections and instructions not to answer at depositions

- Submission of transcript to witness for review

- Deposition-related sanctions

In addition, you will hear from a professional film maker who takes deposition video clips and makes them into settlement demand videos.
