2.0 Ethics Credit Hours

Learn about some of the thorniest ethical issues in employment law and litigation and how to avoid these dilemmas. You will hear real-world scenarios and advice from top employment law practitioners (from both the plaintiff and defense perspective) and D.C. Bar legal ethics counsel. The scenarios presented will have a special emphasis on employment law and litigation, but the ethical topics and advice will be generally applicable across legal disciplines. Areas discussed will include purloined documents, ex parte communications, settlement negotiations, and withdrawing from representation.
