Learn the fundamentals of dealing with statutes, statute drafting, and statutory interpretation. This class will discuss the theories, principles, and methods of drafting and interpreting statutes in a way that is practical and relevant to practicing lawyers. The objective is to develop certain methodologies that practitioners can effectively apply in dealing with statutes and statutory interpretation.
