DC’s Pro Sports Teams Talk: Law, Salary Cap, Arbitration, Contract Negotiations and More

Program Description: Meet and greet the individuals who guide the legal and salary cap decisions confronting the front offices of Washington's pro sports teams. The panelists will discuss the legal issues confronting the area's pro sports teams as well as subjects, such as salary arbitration, player contract negotiations, and navigating the salary cap. Panelists will talk about the differences between the various leagues' salary cap structures. No subject is off limits -- waiver rules, working with player agents, and navigating head coach, general manager and owner wishes on roster and contract decisions.
After the presentation, attendees are invited to attend the Wizards vs. Orlando Magic game at a reduced price. Participants will be able to choose from one of two levels of discounted tickets.
