CLE Credit: No

Event Description
Recent IRS initiatives including the Transfer Pricing Audit Roadmap, revised IDR procedures, the income shifting international practice networks, and improved training of examiners have started to play out in transfer pricing audits. Sam Maruca of Covington & Burling LLP, Brian Davis of Ivins, Phillips & Barker, Chartered, and Marissa Rensen, Assistant to the Branch Chief, IRS Office of Chief Counsel (International), Branch 6, will discuss their early experience with the changes. The panelists will address, for example, whether the IRS and companies are finding the roadmap useful, whether the roadmap is leading to faster and higher risk issue selection, and whether communication between exam teams and companies has improved.

This luncheon program is sponsored by the Tax Audits and Litigation Committee of the Taxation Section. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
