This panel will provide practical advice for attorneys in dealing with the IRS in all stages of the life of an exempt organization, including application for exempt status, examinations, Private Letter Rulings, revocation, etc. Private sector panelists will discuss when to contact the Taxpayer Advocate, request technical advice, go to appeals, or instigate litigation. The panel will also discuss the TE/GE realignment and how it will affect practitioners.
