How do you register a foreign estate in DC, MD and VA?

How do you sell property in that foreign estate?

How do you account for the proceeds?

What about the foreign state's requirements for family allowances?

What about creditors in the originating state?

What is the definition of a spouse in different states?

Are illegitimate children treated differently?

What about pre-deceased legatees?

This program will address issues that arise when an estate opened in one state has to sell or distribute property in another state. The presenters will address DC, MD and VA requirements. Conflict of law issues in estate planning will also be addressed.
