Updated to Teleconference Only: Financial Reporting - The SEC's Renewed Interest

Event Description
Due to the potential of inclement weather, this program will be offered via teleconference only.  Registration prices will remain the same.  The panel will discuss court and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) views on accounting and financial disclosure, including the protection for numerical opinions discussed in Fait, the need for compliance with the Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) requirements relating to trends or uncertainties discussed in Panther, SEC cases, such as Capital One and Anchor Bancorp Wisconsin, that focus on internal controls or disclosure controls, the SEC's focus on the MD&A in comment letters and other staff commentary, and steps companies should take to ensure that they appropriately consider the need for disclosure about trends and uncertainties.
