Filing a Petition to
Arbitrate a Fee Dispute
  1. Read carefully the following three documents:
    1. Information Sheet
    2. Notice to Clients
    3. Rules of Procedure
  2. Once the above documents have been read, complete the three forms below, printing each one as you go.
    1. Request for Arbitration
    2. Agreement to Arbitrate
    3. Statement of Claim
  3. Once printed, submit an original and two copies of each, along with a filing fee to:

    Attorney/Client Arbitration Board
    The District of Columbia Bar

    Be sure to also keep a copy for yourself.
