File a Petition to Arbitrate a Fee Dispute

The two steps to file a petition to arbitrate a fee dispute through the Attorney/Client Arbitration Board are:

  1. Read carefully the following documents.
    1. Information Sheet
    2. Notice to Clients
    3. Rules of Procedure
  2. Submit the original plus two copies of the following three forms along with a filing fee. Incomplete petitions will be returned. You should also keep a copy for your own records.
    1. Request for Arbitration
    2. Agreement to Arbitrate
    3. Statement of claim

Proceed to step one, reading the Information Sheet.
