The District of Columbia Court of Appeals invites D.C. Bar members to apply for a vacancy on its Committee on Admissions through November 7.
The Committee on Admissions is responsible for determining the good moral character and overall fitness of applicants to practice law in the District of Columbia. Members of the committee provide input on character and fitness decisions, engage in formal hearings, and grade bar examinations. Committee members serve three–year terms, which can be renewed.
To be considered, an applicant must be an actively practicing member of the D.C. Bar and admitted to the Bar for a minimum of five years. A small stipend is available.
