The committee concluded that a number of procedural changes would increase the timely payment of dues and provide more clarity to the membership about the consequences of nonpayment as well as the necessary steps for resignation or reinstatement following suspension. The committee also recommended the Bar continue its policy of allowing retroactive reinstatement of a suspended member only in the case of Bar error.
