The D.C. Bar annual election is underway for positions on the Board of Governors for the 2008–2009 term, including four seats in the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association. Members have until June 6 to vote.

Full biographies for president-elect candidates, as well as candidate names and affiliations for other positions, appear in the “D.C. Bar Election Coverage 2008” of the May issue of Washington Lawyer.

Ballots and instructions have been distributed to all active D.C. Bar members and also are available on the Bar’s Web site. Vist www.dcbar.org/elections to vote and see candidates’ biographies.

Results of the election will be announced on the Bar’s Web site and at the Bar’s Annual Business Meeting and Awards Dinner on June 26 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Avenue NW.
