The Tort Law Section has made a number of charitable contributions to area groups. The section has pledged/donated $1,500 each, to the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation; the IONA Whipper Home for Abandoned and Neglected Girls; the UPO-Anacostia Community Center; and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program to support the location of a second Advice and Referral Clinic in Anacostia.

The section works with the Pro Bono Program at Bread for the City in Northwest DC to provide attorneys with expertise in personal injury law at the monthly free legal clinic.
