The Real Estate, Housing and Land Use Section continues to work with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program on the Community Economic Development Pro Bono Project, which serves to revitalize low-income neighborhoods within the District of Columbia.
A representative of the section serves on the advisory committee. The section recruites volunteers for the clinics by mail, e-mail, and phone. The clinics provide pro bono assistance to small business and community based organizations operating in the designated neighborhoods with corporate and business law needs. Members of the section are actively involved in and support the CED clinics.
For more information on the Section's community outreach program, please contact Jennifer Berger, outreach coordinator, at jberger@aarp.org or the D.C. Bar Sections Office at 202-626-3463.
