For all non–CLE D.C. Bar section events the following registration policies apply:
- A section–sponsored educational program not intended as a CLE program, and not administered by the D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education Program, will not qualify for CLE credit in other jurisdictions, including Ohio and Pennsylvania.
- Phone registrations are not accepted. Fax registrations are accepted for free events, prepaid program series RSVP, and credit card payments. (MasterCard, VISA and American Express only)
- Registrations without an accompanying payment, by cash, check or credit card, will not be processed.
- Registrations received less than two business days before an event are not guaranteed food service.
- Substitutes are permitted for reservations.
- Reservations are held for 20 minutes after the slated event start time.
- On–site registration is accepted on a space-available basis, using a first-come, first-served wait list.
- Requests for special dietary accommodations must be received by the Sections Office at least one business day prior to an event.
- Requests for special need accomodations must be received by the Sections Office at least one week in advance of an event.
- Program registrants are entitled to any materials relating to programs they registered for, but did not attend. Please be aware that requests for materials must be made within 60 days of the program date in order to receive them. All requests should be sent to sectionsevents@dcbar.org.
- Refunds will be processed only for cancellations submitted to the Sections Office in writing, by letter, fax or e–mail, at least 48 hours in advance of an event.
