D.C. Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign

Many of your employees may be eligible for significant amounts of government assistance that they are not receiving. The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and similar tax credits can provide cash rebates to low- and moderate- income workers, yet many people lose the benefits by either failing to file or paying high fees to tax-filing services.

The D.C. Fiscal Policy Institute’s website provides information about the D.C. Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign. It advertises the availability of these credits and lets people know how to have their taxes prepared for free. Information is available on the EITC and eligibilty limits, child tax credit, and many other valuable tax credits.

Posting or distributing the flyers are an easy way to help your employees get all the money they deserve.

The links found on this web page will direct you to flyers from the D.C. EITC Campaign and will provide you with more information about the availability of these credits.

The EITC Campaign provides volunteer information; guidance for using paid tax preparers; outreach flyers available in Amharic, English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese; facts about the EITC, facts about the Child Tax Credit; facts about child-dependance care tax credit; and a materials order form.
