On October 16, Intellectual Property Law Section representatives Stephen Belisle and Phil Wrist presented trophies for the 2007 Banneker Science Fair.

The 2007 Science Fair included a record total of 270 student entries in 13 project categories. Trophies were awarded to winners in each project category, overall runner up and overall winner.

The Section also presented the school’s principal, Ms Anita M. Berger and science department chair, Mr. Thomas Moore, with a check for $2,500 to offset expenses for the 2008 Science Fair, scheduled February 28, 2008. The IP Law Section has helped sponsor this event since 1996.
