The focus of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Section is new and significant legislative, regulatory, judicial and policy developments in the fields of environmental, energy and natural resources. Information on such developments is provided through regular luncheon programs, periodic updates to the D.C. Practice Manual, and pages on the D.C. Bar Web site. The section covers the full range of environment, energy, and natural resources issues, including enforcement trends, insurance issues, emerging regulatory issues, legislative initiatives, litigation trends, and public policy proposals. The section also organizes career panels and provides and promotes networking and pro bono opportunities.

The section has standing committees on Energy Law, Animal Welfare, Indian Law, Air & Water Quality, and Remediation and Environmental Liability.
