Jamie Conrad, founder of Conrad Law & Policy Counsel, has been named a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Conrad has written two chapters, “Information Protection” and “Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards,” in the book Homeland Security: Legal & Policy Issues, published by the ABA… John A. Cutler, senior policy advisor at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, has been appointed by Virginia Governor Timothy M. Kaine to the state Board of Health Professions… The Children’s Law Center has elected Evan Farber, general counsel and corporate secretary at The Advisory Board Company, and Carmen McLean, attorney at Jones Day, to the organization’s board of directors for a three-year term… Keith Harper, a partner in the litigation department and head of the Native American Affairs practice group at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, was selected as general counsel for the recently created Indian Country Renewable Energy Consortium... Lorelie S. Masters, a partner at Jenner & Block LLP, has been appointed as member of the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession for a one-year term… Brian Kamoie, a senior fellow at The George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute, has been named senior director for preparedness policy on the White House National Security staff… Stephen E. Vance, a staff attorney for the District of Columbia Sentencing and Criminal Code Revision Commission, has been selected as the 2009-2010 Supreme Court Fellow assigned to the U.S. Sentencing Commission.

Goodwin, an Administrative Law Judge in the Office of Hearings at the U.S. Department of Transportation, was elevated to vice chair of the American Bar Association Judicial Division during its Annual Meeting in August in Chicago... Brian D. Bichy was promoted to of counsel for the Condominium and Common Interest Development practice group at Linowes and Blocher LLP... James S. Green, former associate general counsel at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, has been appointed legal advisor to the president and chief executive officer of the Graduate School… William E. Davis has joined Jackson & Campbell, P.C. as director of its Washington, D.C., office. He has extensive experience in the areas of trust and estate planning, administration and fiduciary litigation, business succession planning, and civil litigation… Gary M. Hnath has joined Mayer Brown LLP as partner, focusing on intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes… Perkins Coie LLP has expanded its national intellectual property and life sciences practice groups with the addition of seven intellectual property attorneys: Paul Booth, John Isacson, David Laub, and Colin Sandercock as partners, and Steven Allis, David Baltazar, and Joseph Ricigliano as associate...
