Yes. All areas listed in Types of Services. Training for volunteer attorneys is provided several times per year. When needed, ALN will try to place a volunteer with a mentor.
Types of services:
ALN provides services to low-income individuals in the following areas: landlord-tenant and housing, government entitlements, domestic relations, employment, wills and probate, conservatorship, guardianship, insolvency and bankruptcy. ALN does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, nationality or any other protected status recognized under the law. Our network of volunteer attorneys is composed of a diverse group of individuals who share a personal and professional commitment to community service.
Volunteer needs:
Attorneys to represent clients in the above areas of law; to conduct intake; to serve as mentors to other attorney volunteers; to assist in providing training programs and to conduct law related education seminars for the community.
