About the Clinic
The Pro Bono Program Advocacy & Justice Clinic is a partnership with legal service providers and many of the District’s largest law firms and government agencies. The Clinic strives to provide representation to clients on a range of civil legal problems. Almost 300 cases were placed last year.
Volunteering
Advocacy & Justice Clinic volunteers must be employees of a participating law firm or federal agency. Please refer to the list of clinic participants. If you are an employee of a participating organization, please contact your employer’s pro bono or volunteer coordinator to arrange to volunteer for the Clinic. If your employer is not a Clinic participant, please consider asking your employer to become a Clinic participant. Law firm and federal agency representatives interested in enrolling their organizations in the Clinic should call 202-737-4700, ext. 3297.
