D.C. Bar New Member Reception

Members who have joined the D.C. Bar in the past year are invited to the New Member Reception; the December 10th event was quite successful and prompted another reception.

New D.C. Bar members—whether you waived in or if you passed the Bar exam—are invited to attend this New Member Reception on Monday, October 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception will be held at the SunTrust Bank Penthouse Ballroom, which features unrivaled views of the White House and the Washington Monument. Guests will meet D.C. Bar President Robert Spagnoletti and President–elect Kim Keenan. Bar leadership from the Board of Governors and other volunteer Bar leadership positions; representatives from the hosting Membership Benefits Program and D.C. Bar Membership Committee; and also directors from the D.C. Bar itself.

Date: Monday, October 6, 2008
Time: 6–8 p.m.
Location: SunTrust Bank 1445 New York Avenue and 15th Street
Cost: Complimentary (light hors d'oeuvres and beverages)

*Because SunTrust is a security-enforced building, we kindly ask that you RSVP by October 3 at 12 p.m., with your name and e-mail, to memberbenefits@dcbar.org.

For more information contact Latisha Mckoy at 202-737-4700, ext. 330, or at lmckoy@dcbar.org.

Note: This event is the evening before the October 7 Mandatory Course; so if you are registered or planning to register for the course, please consider attending our New Member Reception as well!
