Car Buying Service, 301-657-1920

D.C. Bar members can purchase domestic vehicles at $100 over dealer invoice and foreign vehicles at prenegotiated prices through United Buying Service, Inc. or UBS. UBS works with nearly 100 Washington area dealerships to secure special prenegotiated prices on virtually every make and model of car and truck on the market. UBS prices already include the invoiced fee of freight, and UBS customers are exempt from paying additional dealer processing fees. Manufacturer rebates and incentives, when available, are deducted from the UBS price to make prices even lower. To use the car buying service, members should call UBS, identify themselves as D.C. Bar members, and request a free purchase certificate for a specific vehicle (Ford, Honda, Toyota, etc.). UBS will mail the purchase certificate, which will include information on the make of car desired, the closest dealership, and the name of the UBS representative at the dealership. Once the certificate is received, make an appointment with the recommended UBS representative at the dealership and select the model of car, along with the options desired.
